Washington D.C.—April 21, 2004—Anthony J. Comerota, MD, Director of JVC, was the lead reviewer for the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) advisory panel on carotid stenting. Although Dr. Comerota voted against the recommendation, the panel voted 6-5 to recommend that the FDA approve the use of Johnson & Johnson’s Precise stent. For the complete story, click here.
