Toledo, OH—April 2004—Julia Peshke, a premed intern since 2000, was selected by the Lifeline Foundation to receive a 2004 Student Research Fellowship award. Ms. Peshke’s project is entitled “Intermittent Pneumatic Compression as Adjunct in the Treatment of Acute Deep Vein Thrombosis.” In September 2004, Ms. Peshke will begin medical school at Wright State University in Dayton, OH.
