Miami, FL—January 2004—Dr. Barry Katzen, President of the International Society of Endovascular Therapy (ISET), recognized Hugh “Jock” Beebe, MD, the first Director of the JVC, for his contributions to endovascular therapy. Dr. Beebe received the prestigious Distinguished Career Award from ISET in Miami, Fla on Wed, January 28th. This award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of endovascular therapy. Dr. Beebe has been a leader in the evaluation and treatment of patients with abdominal aortic aneurysms, and has advanced the field of endograft repair of these patients.
