Friday, September 10, 2006— 17th Annual Conrad Jobst Lecture

Jobst Vascular Center is pleased to announce that Andrew Nicolaides, MS, FRCS, FRCSE, Professor Emeritus at Imperial College School of Medicine in London, will be the guest speaker for the 17th annual Conrad Jobst Lecture.

Dr. Nicolaides is known internationally for his work on venous thromboembolism, noninvasive vascular diagnosis, carotid plaque characterization, and identification of patients at increased risk for stroke. He is Editor-in-Chief of International Angiology and serves on the editorial boards of many vascular journals. Dr. Nicolaides has co-authored over 400 original papers and edited 14 books, and he was Chairman of the Committee of the American Venous Forum that created the CEAP classification of chronic venous disease. The Conrad Jobst Lecture will be held on Friday, September 15, 2006 in the Education Center Auditorium on the campus of The Toledo Hospital.
