The Toledo Zoo is just the right size for an afternoon visit or an all-day safari! State-of-the-art exhibits together with historic architecture are fully blended to provide our animals with the best possible environment and offer our visitors an exciting experience. The Toledo Zoo is home to more than 4,000 animals representing 600 species, including the world-renown Hippoquarium.
Cheer on the World Famous Toledo Mud Hens. As the Detroit Tiger's AAA affiliate, the Mud Hens keep the baseball tradition alive and strong in Toledo. In 2003, Toledo's Fifth Third Field was named the best stadium in minor league baseball by Newsweek.

The Toledo Museum of Art is one of America's finest art museums, containing more than 30,000 works of art.
For heart pounding action, cheer on The Storm, Toledo's hard skating team in the ECHL. They are an affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings and the Adirondack Red Wings.
In the 1890's, the Valentine Theatre in Toledo was considered the finest performing arts venue between New York and Chicago. Today, following years of reconstruction, it reigns again as a premiere facility for the performing arts, boasting an exciting blend of old and new.

The University of Toledo is located on a suburban campus that is six miles west of the downtown area. Located 45 minutes north of the Jobst Vascular Center, the University of Michigan Medical Center houses the Jobst Vascular Laboratories.
