Ralph C. Whalen, MD, FACS

Board certified vascular surgeon.
Completed his undergraduate education at Bowling Green State University.
Following medical school at the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo, he completed his internship and surgical residency at Akron City Hospital and his fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Became a Fellow, American College of Surgeons in 1981
Section Head of Vascular Surgery at St. Luke's Hospital, as well as at The Toledo Hospital
Assistant Professor of Surgery at Medical College of Ohio since 1984
Serves as Team Physician for Anthony Wayne High School
Member of the Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society and International Society for Cardiovascular Surgery
Specialties are abdominal aortic aneurysms and carotid artery disease.
