Completed his undergraduate education at the University of Toledo and medical school at the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo (MCO)
Graduated first in his class at the MCO and was the first recipient of both the Glidden L. Brooks Scholarship and the Dean's Award
Completed his internship and residency at Akron City Hospital and his fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota
Member of the Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society, the Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society, the International Society for Cardiovascular Surgery and the American Venous Forum
Areas of special interest include aortic surgery and endovascular therapies. His research interests involve endovascular repair of aneurysms and minimally invasive surgery for venous stasis ulcers
