Ultrasound Technologist Training

Students studying to become vascular ultrasound technologists at University of Toledo and Jackson Community College participate in clinical training activities and hands-on instruction at Jobst Vascular Center.  Linda Jones, RVT, technical manager, is the clinical preceptor for the program.  Clinical instruction for students is provided by certified vascular technologists at JVC.
 
JVC vascular tech Amy Wilson, RVT, observes University of Toledo student David Gibbons performing an ultrasound test at the popliteal artery. David has since graduated from the UT program and has been hired as a full-time vascular tech at Jobst Vascular Laboratory.
