ProMedica, Alliance to End Hunger host National Hunger Summit
As a non-profit, Mission based health system serving northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan, ProMedica sees the health impacts of poor nutrition, obesity and hunger on our patients and families every day. As a social determinant of health, hunger leads to poor health and urges action that requires engaging lawmakers and healthcare industry leaders in discussion toward ending hunger in our nation. To increase the health and well-being of our citizens, and in keeping with our Mission, ProMedica is partnering with The Alliance to End Hunger to host a National Hunger Summit in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 10, 2013.
